River Valley Survival products are designed, crafted, and tested by Kevin Johnson, owner and lead instructor of River Valley Survival, informed by real-world use in instruction, time spent in the field, and feedback from students and peers.

What began as gear made for personal use in classes and field training grew organically as students and peers requested the same reliable tools. Today, each product is built in small batches, combining handcrafted components with carefully sourced materials and tested for real-world performance.
